I like to keep a 24/7 asynchronous channel open to my active clients to connect and pass notes outside of scheduled video calls.
I never used to have a preference for which platform we used, but that inevitably turned into a massive jumbled mess of text messages, email, Slack, WhatsApp, Discord, Signal, Telegram, Voxer, LinkedIn messages, and a dozen other bespoke messaging and community platforms. 😅
While I will always do my best to respond anywhere, WhatsApp is the channel where I can commit to an 8-business-hours SLA for my clients, and be most responsive to everyone.
When life hits a wall, or you receive some great news, your first call will obviously be to your family, friend, or partner. We just want to earn the right to be your second call.
